When added to adhesives or used as a primer on substrates, SiSiB silanes may provide dramatic improvement in adhesion by reducing moisture attack at the interface. It will improve moisture resistance, temperature resistance, and chemicals resistance. When used as a coupling agent, SiSiB silanes will bind organic polymers to mineral or siliceous fillers, wil improve mixing properties, improve bonding of pigment or fillers to resins, and may increase matrix strength.
